Skypod is a brand new contemporary PVCu system designed specifically to add height, volume and natural light to uninspiring flat-roofed rooms. Purpose designed with a unique ridge and spider bar arrangement, Skypod offers a contemporary aesthetics that make it far better looking than skylights created using standard conservatory roof systems. Compared with aluminium skylights, the innovative PVCu Skypod delivers a number of key benefits. Provides the perfect match for existing PVCu windows. More cost effective against aluminium skylights or conservatory roof systems. Choice of standard sizes or bespoke made to measure with different colour options. Manufactured in our own UK factory. The balanced aesthetics on Skypod have been achieved because it avoids the use of bulky spider bracket top caps, cresting and finials, which are incorporated into skylights when using standard conservatory components. The Skypod has a fixed roof pitch of 20 degrees and is supplied with Pilkington’s Activ Self Cleaning Temperature Controlling glass included as standard. Available in five colours with a centre pane thermal U-Value of 1.0W/m²K achievable. The range is available in kits from our factory and are offered in six standard sizes to fit the following external kerb sizes. 1.0m x 1.5m – 1.0m x 2.5m – 1.5m x 2.0m – 1.5m x 3.0m – 2.0m x 3.0m – 2.0m x 4.0m. Kerb size should be made with at least 4″ upstand x 3″ width of timber batten. Measuring the size you require must be measured from the external kerb dimension. Activ will clean off fingerprints but it may take a period of time, dependent on environmental conditions. Use warm soapy water when cleaning the Activ glass.
