The sleek, modern design of this skylight provides uninterrupted daylight. The COXDOME® Lumiglaze glass rooflight provides clear panoramic views internally due to the slim powder coated slate grey aluminium frame (RAL7015) profile whilst also providing a clean, modern appearance externally. The toughened outer glass pane has ceramic edge coating and comes complete with fixing screws which once installed are fully concealed. With energy costs on the increase, we understand that minimising heat loss from the property is of paramount importance. The 6mm toughened outer glass panel together with laminated inner provides increased safety from within the property if the glass should fail. The glass specification for this flat roof window range is 6mm clear toughened outer, 12mm Argon cavity, 9.5mm clear laminate with’Low E’ as standard (other glazing options are available upon request). The Lumiglaze range of roof windows also benefit from exceptional noise reduction providing insulation (sound of approximately 35dB). As with many electric glass skylights on the market, this design is intended to be installed onto a roof with a pitch of between 3-7° and can be installed directly onto the roof deck supplied with a vertical upstand to maximise the daylight sizes.
