The lantern will stand on an upstand that your roofer will create, usually out of wood, covered by the roof’s weatherproof membrane. Recommended upstand sizes are 150mm height, and a minimum of 69mm width which is the width of the base of the lantern eaves. Please see the upstand diagram in the photos. Brand new, never installed. Window is fixed and does not open. Glazing is 24mm thick double glazed, clear, toughened with black warm edge spacer bar, Low E, filled with Argon gas for extra efficiency. There is no condensation occurring inside the pane/s. The glass is self cleaning providing a special hydrophilic and photocatalytic coating that breaks down organic dirt that lands on the surface of the glass.
