Velux Velta VLT 029 is a side hung left or right access window designed to provide ventilation and light for uninhabited and unheated loft spaces. It enables easy access to the roof and provides good lighting. Velux Velta are produced with 15 mm double glazed pane to improve insulation. The flashing fits perfectly on tiles and slates too. After removing or trimming the foam gasket you can install the skylight perfectly on slates too. The construction can be fixed and mounted very easily in the roof area. 15mm double pane (3-9-3). Integrated flashing with apron. Weather – and UV-ray resistant. Comes with rubber gaskets in the sash. Kiln-dried pine wood with fungicide protection. Side Hung which can be installed as left or right opening. This escape can be installed in all roofing materials. Restrictor which keep the sash when fully opened to facilitate the exit and make them safer. Chromed steel handle with two ventilation positions. Flexible system allows installation in roofs with pitches between 20 and 60 degrees. Trimmable or completely removable foam gasket to ensure a perfect seal to roofing. Due to the restricted opening area this window is not suitable for fire escape purposes in accordance to building regulations. For fire escape purposes the window should have an unobstructed opening area that is at least 0.33m2 and a minimum width or height of 450mm.
