Roto Frank of America quit production of their Roof Windows in 2003 and parts are hard to come by. We still have a small. Of the last production of the updated star sprocket gear. That replaced the “pot metal” gear. The newly updated gear is Stainless-Steel 304 material. Roto Frank had just approved the new stainless-steel material, and was release weeks before they quit productions of the roof windows. This gear uses the updated Stainless-Steel 304 material, not the weaker material previously used. This part is what normally fails on your roof window. The other parts just don’t fail often. This is guaranteed to fit on Roto Frank roof windows, however, it also works on other skylights as well. Worried that it won’t work on those other roof windows? We are action oriented!
