VELUX Recessed Flashing EDJ. The VELUX EDJ recessed tile flashing provides a sleek and streamlined finish as the roof window is installed deep into the roof structure. This means that less of the roof window protrudes above the roofline. VELUX flashing kits are designed to integrate your VELUX roof window perfectly into the roofing material, ensuring that your window is completely weathertight, whatever the conditions. The VELUX EDJ Conservation Recessed Tile Flashing with Insulation can be used for a single roof window that is being installed into flat or profiled roofing material with a maximum profile of 90mm – roofing materials include tiles, thatched roofs, corrugated sheets, and interlocking slate. These black aluminium flashings sit under the roofing materials, and then the water from the roof is collected in the built-in guttering system. The gutter overlaps a second section of the flashing to help the water flow smoothly down the side of the window. The flashing apron moulds to the roof material profile to allow the water to drain away. VELUX flashing is used to create a durable, watertight and weatherproof seal around your window. Available in a variety of sizes. Suitable for use with roof pitches between 20° and 90°. For profiled or flat roofing material up to 90mm in profile. Lacquered aluminium material in dark grey. Allows safe drainage of rainwater. Crafted from corrosion-proof materials.
