The moulded zinc handle allows the window to be locked in three positions. Two for passive ventilation and one to close the window. The window has a Uw-Value of 1,4 W/m2K (which is better than the Pine and Pine Vented series) and a better degree of water tightness The panes have 24-mm double glazing (argon filled), a low E coating and a toughened outer pane. The toughened outer pane prevents the glass breaking in the event that it is hit by something from outside. YARDLITE windows are very easy to install. TFX – Standard Tile Flashing suitable for tiles between16-50mm in profile LSX – Standard Slate Flashing suitable for slates upto 16mm thick KFP – Plain Tile Flashing suitable for plain, flat tiles upto 14mm in profile UFX – Universal Tile Flashing suitable for all tiles from 16-120mm in profile. Roof pitch of 15-90 degrees required except for the KFP Plain Tile flashing which is 25-90 degrees.
